The Dark Knight is a movie that takes place primarily in the dark , and at many times, night .
It’s an interesting concept that should be looked into further for future films involving dark and night .
This film was pretty awesome , though not in all the ways that I wanted it to be. The Joker was not always funny enough, while acting in his evil “50% dark” and “50% night” ratio explored in this film he should have also had a extra 50% silly ratio added so that he might enter a 150% level of silly-awesomeness .
Example: The joker was shining best when he was dressed as a nurse and blowing up Gotham General Hospital. That area of the movie reached the 150% point, I wish it had lasted throughout the movie.
This movie was a bit long, it was mostly necessary build up, but the peak point of interest in the movie wasn’t… it was a jumble of action scenes that were about the same level of action so instead of getting an experience where you get more and more excited you end up getting excited and then cooling off from that excitement and then repeating this process about 6 times .
The soundtrack was a bit of an underachiever here. Being blatantly (annoyingly) obvious in some parts and not being used at all in other emotional points of interest or if it was, I didn’t notice. Though the hammery clanky theme of the movie is alright, I thought it worked better in Batman Begins cause it was more forge-like in nature. I kinda hoped the composer would have moved away from it more and made this move stand further away from the first. And uh… LINK!
In short I’d give it,

Never in my live have I played a better terrible/awesome game. This game is, relatively speaking, on some sort of crystal meth/crack super-drug they’ve yet to inform me of. I want it.
So what the hell am I talking about? No More Heros is… lets see if I can sum this up. A game about an otaku nerd who gets a lightsaber and being psychotic, decides to become the best assassin in the area, (the area being "Santa Destroy, Callifronia"). What follows is one of the most hilarious RPGish hack n slash games I’ve ever played. We are talking sex jokes, death jokes, toilet jokes, drunk jokes, a cliche (sorta) master’s death, and ridiculous everything.
Thats not saying the game is ultra awesome. It is not. The controls are average, the graphics/art style is really good close quarters but falls apart at long ranges in the over world area. The combat works well and can at times actually require a bit of strategy and maneuvering. Also the voice work, sound effects are funny all very well cast and made. The music is good, but felt slightly repetitive it isn’t but if felt that way.
Overall its a good game (as in a 5/10 or so) filled with yummy bits of absolutely nonsense story and a ball bustlingly funny sense of humor. The jokes may not be up everyone’s ally, so be warned that its just a 4/10 game probably. However due to the amazing creativeness in this game I have to give it a 6/10. It doesn’t score higher than that because there is little to no re-playability.
I highly recommend this game. Hopefully people will buy it and encourage more creative work like this on the Wii.

Hello again, and welcome to the movie that has very little to do with the title! This movie is about a monster who never gets explained really showing up in New York and smashing the place with it’s giant self. That and he aperently humps the statue of liberty rather inhumanely. The catch of this movie is it is shot through the lens of a hand held video camera! The whole time…
yay?
Anyway, we have a very boring lead up to a huge awesome part in the middle influenced by the absolutely retarded decisions of characters.
The plot is not very interesting, and it really feels like these people must have some sort of idiot disease to keep going on their "quest" (if I am so bold to call it such). I mean it might make sense if they were superheroes, but no they are just stupid. However, thanks to their lame brain selves we get really cool special effects!
The special effects are superb, extremely good by any account. Monster feels big, little monsters feel uh… skittery. Everything looks great and is seamless for the most part. Its easily said that the special effects make this movie awesome.
I recommend seeing this if you like um… survival monster movies. Though not so much if you suffer from motion sickness.

This is a musical about a barber who is falsely accused of being, uh, bad? Sent to die in some far off place by an evil judge who then tries to steal his wife and marry his daughter. If that sounds weird, it should, it’s a musical. Musicals are always a wonderful paradox of logic and reason. So it makes perfect sense that a musical would be set around a psycho killer.
The movie’s music itself is widely ranging from shitty to holy freaking awesome. All the singing is pretty darn good, since it’s better than I can do in the shower, or at all for that matter. The real singing star in this move is the kid and Borat to a lesser extent. They have some very funny and memorable song(s)/moments.
In the effects department they get a thumbs up for blood and gore, they get a thumbs down for an annoying shitty After Effects opening to the movie that doesn’t even feel remotely like an overture. The first 30 minutes of the movie are not good, and it should be said that the love story between the other kid and what’s-her-pretty-face should have been ignored for the most part. Cause you don’t care about it and it doesn’t get resolved in the end of the film so I felt annoyed they even left it in from the play version.
This movie is an odd mishmash of totally awesome and super fun, and bleh. Live past the first 30 minutes and you’ll have a lot of fun.

This is a movie about a girl who sees weird monsters and stuff and goes off doing silly missions for a weirdo in an f-ed up (freekin cool) costume.
The movie is in spanish, I was surprised by this and kept thinking that they’d switch into english to keep me from having to reed subtitles. Sadly they did not. However for being a foreign movie it has really good CG! Better than most Japanese films I’ve seen and thats an achievement for sure. Just goes to show that half of CG is lighting and the other half is animation cause the models could look like shit as long as they look like their standing next to a real person. Er… never mind.
Anyway the story is fairly so so, it’s nothing special, aside from having an awesome Nazi bad guy who beats peoples faces in with bottles. I can see why this won academy awards for makeup and cinematography. A lot of the fantasy characters are real people in suits and it was a good choice. It looks way better than if they were CG.
So as the movie goes on the protagonist must face off against giant toads, friggin awesome scary monsters, and in her final battle she must face off between a drugged psycho Natzi with a gun while she is armed only with a baby. Guess who wins! Intense stuff.
This move is good overall, I recommend it.
